Meet Me Choir performs at the Festival Hall

The Meet Me at the Albany Choir was invited to perform at London’s Southbank Centre on Saturday 1st July as part of the SBC’s Chorus event, celebrating the human voice and showcasing community choirs from across the UK and Europe.

Performing their set on the Royal Festival Hall foyer stage, the choir came out in force to sing classic numbers including “Hit the Road Jack”, with a solo from Ron, “My Boy Lollipop” with a solo by Jean and “I Can’t Stop Loving You” with a solo from Ted. The enthusiastic audience of several hundred joined in and warmly applauded the choir.
