This drawing is the result of an Ambient Jam approach that was used at one of our nursing home residences as part of Walking Through Walls, for residents who are bedbound or have complex disabilities. This drawing is by one of our artists Cai Tomos for a resident in palliative care.

‘The resident gave us all imaginative licence to see the nursing home as ‘a big ship’ that is moving, even if he is confined in his room. A story emerged where this resident had gone back to his home town in Scotland by ship. This was one example of one of the many moving moments that have happened on this project’ Rebecca Swift
