In collaboration with Freedom Studios in Bradford and the Arc in Stockton on Tees we created Home Sweet Home. A play that told the stories of residents surviving life in a residential care home.

Devised by older performers from London, Bradford and Stockton working with writer Emma Adams and Director Tom Wright Home Sweet Home toured to three venues across England in 2014.  

‘Taking her stage debut at the age of 81, Florence Remmer, a former mill worker from Bradford, is not afraid of sharing her story. If this community show aims to challenge perceptions and stereotypes of old age, the irrepressibly candid Remmer accomplishes that unaided.’
