Lewisham Speaking Up and Ambient Jam in PMLD Link Magazine!

We’re proud to share two articles that were featured in PMLD Link magazine last year, a publication dedicated to the support of people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). Written by Ellie Spirrett of Lewisham Speaking Up and our Creative Director Rebecca Swift, the articles highlight the power of sensory, non-verbal communication as a form of self-advocacy, and in fostering connection.

Lewisham Speaking Up is an organisation that champions the rights of people with learning disabilities. Ellie’s article details the organisation’s collaboration with our Ambient Jam programme, and the mutual learnings that blossomed from these sessions.
