Ambient Jam improvises at Camberwell Arts Festival with tactile sculptures by artist Shane Waltener.

In June, Ambient Jam’s artists and lead emerging artists performed a durational piece. Open Moves uses tactile sculptures created by Shane Waltener in collaboration with participants from the Copleston Centre and the Dragon Café.

This took place at the ORTUS reading and learning centre. ‘Open Moves’ was part of Camberwell Arts Festival. The piece was followed by a discussion with members of the audience.

The conversation with the audience, some of whom joined in with the improvisation, provided precious feedback on how we could develop the work with a wider public.
