Ambient Jam x Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA): Short Film

A short film captures the sensory and embodied qualities within an Ambient Jam Collective workshop for MA students at Goldsmiths University’s Centre for Arts and Learning. Delivered at Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA), it wove in the MA’s theme of Arts economies.

Our immersive, multi-sensory, live music workshops are co-facilitated and designed by a differently-abled team of experienced Ambient Jam artists, and centrally informed by long-term grassroots practice.

“Fun, playful, liberating, came right out of my comfort zone, power of non-verbal, you don’t have to justify anything.” – a postgraduate student, the Centre of Arts and Learning, January 2024

This year we were also commissioned to lead our workshops for Postgraduate students in Organisations and Change at Bowling Green State University, U.S.A for the Tavistock institute, and seperately for creatives in human relations at the Institutes Deepening Creative Practice programme.

“Thank you for the gorgeous, warm, embodied and present session you and your colleagues led last Monday. The moment you all step into the room there is always a different presence – a grounding in the here and now that is a lesson in itself and which seeps on into your improvisations.” – Juliet Scott, Tavistock Institute, on our workshop for their Bowling Green State University programme, July 2024
