We are thrilled to be one of the organisations selected for Siobhan Davies Studios’ Artist Archive, an annual programme dedicated to the revival and rehoming of existing works.

As part of the Live Archive section, we will focus on Ambient Jam’s 30 year history and activism, foregrounding the contribution of our members who have profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) towards a way of being together that is uncompromisingly honest, and that can playfully hold opposites and forge community. Through a durational multi-sensory improvisation, we will share an embodied heritage (and subsequent trust and care) forged through long-term relationships, where the archive is held in the connections between people from the repetition of weekly improvisations over 30 years.
