Vix is a dance artist and works with us on Ambient Jam. Her artistic practice centers on the intelligence of the senses and present moment awareness in the moving body. She is interested in how moving with others and in the natural environment can facilitate transcendent experiences and spends her time holding spaces for moving. She is a practicing Dance Movement Psychotherapist and has many years’ experience of working non-verbally with children and adults with sensory impairments and learning disabilities. Her primary identification is as a raver, a social dance movement that profoundly influenced her life. She also loves Brazilian music, dance and culture, teaches Samba dance and DJs Brazilian music in her home town of Hastings.
