The Home Roadshow is a hopeful, interactive performance for residents, their families, and staff — and it’s touring into Care Homes this Autumn!   

It takes a light-hearted look at the Care Home, celebrating what it is to live and work in a care setting. It’s music, dance and comedy… a little bit of seriousness with a big bit of fun.

This show was created by award-winning theatre writer, Kit Green, who wanted to create something fun and thought-provoking; something that’s going to get everyone in care homes singing, smiling, and hopefully talking about the topics it raises for a long time afterwards.  There will be a cast of four professional actors who will entertain, listen, and make the performance special for each location. Audience members will be visited by a team working for a rival care home chain who are (no-so-secretly) trying to recruit residents to come and live in one of their homes instead!

The Home Roadshow is for care home residents of all abilities and needs, their carers, and their staff.  There’s something for everyone! 

It will tour from 19th September to 11th October 2024.
