Safeguarding
Safeguarding is a fundamental part of operating as a charity for the public benefit. Trustees must ensure that the necessary steps are taken to protect from harm all people who come into contact with the organisation. This includes:
People who benefit from the charity’s work
Staff
Volunteers
Other people who come into contact with the charity through its work
At Entelechy Arts, we take safeguarding very seriously. We ensure that all staff members, artists, and volunteers have an up-to-date DBS certificate, and we offer safeguarding training to all volunteers, artists, and staff members. We promote an open and positive culture to ensure everyone feels able to report concerns, knowing they will be heard and responded to.
Protecting the welfare of the communities we work with is our top priority and we are all always striving to improve and strengthen our existing procedures with regular training.
