Zsuzsi Soboslay is a dancer, theatre-maker, writer and community artist who first met David Slater and Rebecca Swift at the LIFT Fest in 1997. She then spent some years plotting how to reconnect with us, all the way from Australia. In 2015 she came on secondment to Entelechy Arts for 3 months and was particularly taken by the meticulous ethical care-taking in setting up and maintaining Ambient Jam.

Zsuzsi has written about her experiences in her Blogspot ‘London Calling: arts, equity and participation’ and in her thesis chapters devoted to the work of Entelechy Arts and Ambient Jam.

In Chapter 3, page 31 of her thesis, she focusses her research on Ambient Jam under the title: An exemplar: Care in action
