As part of the Telegraph Hill Festival in March 2026, the Meet Me on the Phone Poetry Collective recorded selected works for an installation in a disused public phone box, in partnership with the Jerningham Road Telephone Box Project. Members of the public heard the work of Elizabeth, Alison, Gloria, Jeanie, Moira, Pauline, Philip, Stella and Zenith, alongside a tangle of phone wires.
Meet Me… on the phone is part of ‘Meet Me…’ an award-winning programme of creative and social activities, where older people in Lewisham can make friends, enjoy their favourite activities and learn new crafts. The programme is a partnership between The Albany and Entelechy Arts.
Members meet every Monday on the phone between 3pm and 4pm. Please contact info@entelechyarts.org if you are interested in joining or volunteering with this project.
